What is "local"?
Here at ELC, we have a pretty broad definition of local. We consider the following as local: food and beverages grown, raised, caught, processed, brewed, or distilled within 200 miles
We also include food businesses owned and operated by community members including small businesses such as jams and jellies, bakers, juices, spices, coffee, cheeses, sugar, beans, rice, beer, wine and spirits, and more. This also includes our beloved locally owned and operated restaurants, pop-ups, and food trucks, caterers, plate lunches.
